As you already know, I have been holding all my sessions online during the past weeks. Although this was not strictly mandatory, I found this necessary given the COVID-19 situation.
Due to the positive developments regarding this pandemic in The Netherlands, at least apparently, I would like to inform you that from May 19th 2020 I am starting face-to-face sessions again.
The transition to face-to-face sessions will be arranged by mutual agreement between you and me. Therefore you can also request to maintain your sessions online.
Following the recommendations of the RIVM (Dutch National Institute for Public Health and Environment) and our professional associations, I have created the following house rules to make sure that we all stay safe:
- You and I (or any other person at the practice) need to respect a distance of 1,5 meters at all times.
- If you use public transportation to come to the session, you need to wear a face mask. Only use the bus, tram, metro or train if you need to.
Come to the appointment maximum 5 minutes before the scheduled time and give me a missed call on my mobile, so I can open the front door for you without the need of touching the entrance keypad.
- I ask you to stay at home if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: nasal cold, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, light cough or slight temperature fever (see coronavirus symptoms), or if anybody that lives in your household has a fever. If you have any doubts, also stay at home. Please cancel your session on time. If you would like to have your session online instead, let me know as soon as possible.
Our no-show policy will remain unchanged. If you would like to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify me 24 hours in advance. If you are feeling ill, I always recommend that you cancel well in advance. If you start feeling ill on the day of your appointment, please request an online session.
If I am experiencing any symptoms or anybody in my household has a fever, you will be offered an online session unless this option is not possible and we need to reschedule the session.
You are requested to wash your hands with soap when you arrive at the office and when you leave. Please dry your hands with the provided towel and discard it by throwing it in the basket right after. I will also wash my hands frequently.
I kindly ask you to cough and sneeze into your elbow, use paper tissues to blow your nose, and discard them after use. Please do not shake hands.
I will provide hand sanitizer, automatic soap dispensers, and paper tissues.
I am unfortunately not able to offer you tea, coffee, or water at the moment. Please bring your own water bottle if you want to drink something.
Door handles and other frequently touched surfaces will be disinfected after every visitor. I will also do my best to keep the rooms ventilated at all times.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and I am looking forward to meeting you either face-to-face or online!
